Week 2 – Garlic Green Beans

These simple garlic green beans use fresh green beans and sweet onions from Sobrino Farms. They’re quick to make, lightly savory, and pair well with just about any main dish.

Ingredients (serves 2–4):

• 1 pound green beans, trimmed

• ¼ sweet onion, thinly sliced

• 1 tablespoon olive oil

• 2 cloves garlic, minced

• Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: lemon juice or red pepper flakes

Instructions:

1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

2. Add onions and cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.

3. Add green beans and sauté for 6–8 minutes until tender-crisp.

4. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

5. Season with salt and pepper and serve warm.
